Missions Ministry

C.I.A. (Church in Action) Day

C.I.A. Day is a semi-annual church wide missions involvement days, with dozens of local projects.  These projects are done on Sunday afternoon and evening in lieu of all afternoon and evening activities and service.

Missions Education

Acteens

Acteens is a missions organization for girls in grades 7th through 12th.  Through Acteens, teenaged girls can have opportunities to grow in their relationships with God and their peers.  Acteens learn to look beyond themselves and become actively involved in missions and ministry.

Acteens meet every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Challengers

Challengers is a missions organization for boys in grades 7th through 12th.  Challengers meet every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Girls in Action (GAs)

GAs is a missions organization for girls in grades 1st through 6th.  In GA's, girls learn what missionaries do, pray for missionaries and discover how they can help other people.

The GA's meet every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Royal Ambassadors (RAs)

RAs is a mission education organization for boys in grades 1st through 6th.  The RA motto, "We are Ambassadors for Christ," not only gives the organization its name, but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal.

The RA's meet every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pastor's Mission Buck Club

The goal of this "Club" is to create our own little “cooperative” mission fund to subsidize, scholarship assist and participate in a wide variety of causes without a weekly special offering for this or that.  The “Club” helps with those opportunities that arise on short notice, but aren’t in the budget.  For more information regarding the Pastor's Mission Buck Club, click here.

Reach Out

Reach Out is a monthly opportunity involved in missions in and around Duncanville.  Our projects vary from month to month.  We usually meet on the second Wednesday of the month; however, it may change according to the project's needs.  Typically, we meet from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Childcare is available on request.  For more information regarding Reach Out, click here.
