Lunch with the Pastor

Lunch with the Pastor is an opportunity for guests to become familiar with our church in a comfortable and non-threatening way.  The guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions and will be offered (in a no pressure way) the opportunity to officially join the Church, without having to “walk the aisle”.  For more information regarding Lunch with the Pastor, click here.

Mother's Day Out

Mothers, do you need time away?  Children can learn and play at Duncanville's First Baptist Church's Mother's Day Out Program.  There are lots of great activities included each week.  The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.  Our program follows the Duncanville Independent School District's schedule for holidays and breaks.  For more information regarding Mother's Day Out, click here

Upward Ministry (Basketball and Cheerleading)

The primary focus of Upward is to develop the winner in every child, not just a few.  It promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in all who participate.  Duncanville’s First Baptist Church offer both Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading.  Interested children can registered in the program every year in October.  Practices begins in December, and the games are scheduled January through February.  The Awards Night is the first Saturday evening in March.  For more information regarding Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading, click here.
